Cherry Blossom is a chocolate bar produced by Hershey Canada Inc. in Smiths Falls, Ontario. Originally, Cherry Blossoms were manufactured by the Walter M. Lowney Company of Canada, until Hershey took over the company as a subsidiary.
The bar consists of a cherry and cherry syrup, surrounded by a mix of chocolate, coconut, and roasted peanut pieces. The filling is not injected into the chocolates, but created instead by coating the cherry candy with an enzyme that turns the solid into a liquid within 1 to 2 weeks. Cherry Blossoms come wrapped in small portions in a cardboard box.
